All Things Early Intervention
This presentation is for teachers who teach in a Christian faith-based classroom, such as those located in a church, which is where many preschool programs are based across the state. This presentation, available upon request, draws connections between neuroscience, positive discipline strategies, and lessons in grace to promote positive discipline in a preschool classroom.
This presentation examines the physical development of infants and toddlers, its impact on cognitive development, and teachers’ classroom activities to promote both.
As a parent, I played this album “Sounds Like Fun” in CD format for my own children to fall asleep. Now, as a music therapy student, I’ve rediscovered the song’s simple melody and repetitive chords making it an excellent tool for my own journey in learning how to play the guitar.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is the US Government agency that plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety of toys for children. They are responsible for regulating consumer products and protecting the public from unreasonable risks of injury or death.
I decided to reach out to Discovery Toys to test their lifetime guarantee. To my surprise, they were incredibly easy to work with and replaced the broken toys at no cost. This experience reinforced my belief in the quality and customer service of Discovery Toys.
This clever little game challenges players to use their fingers to manipulate pegs in a variety of patterns. I have it in a regular rotation in my bag of tricks for piano lessons. Newbie piano students have a hard time moving one finger at a time. This toy helps students with that.

Thankfully, I have a new generation of toy testers: my adorable nephew! He’s the perfect size for testing out all sorts of toys, and I think he’s starting to warm up to me.
