Fall In Love With Discovery Toys: A Love Story Part 4

Now that my children have grown into young adults, the Discovery Toys Love Story continues. Although family game nights occur less often, I continue to test toys with our foster children, nephews, and piano students and share the love of learning through play with others through this blog

Part 4 2019

By now, I have been doing a few parties and vendor exhibits. I am getting the hang of placing orders and feeling confident in my own way of doing things.

By 2019 I was FULLY immersed in the DT Kool-Aid. When I found out their annual convention was to be hosted in Baltimore. I was SO EXCITED because I have always wanted to go to Washington DC. ( And Baltimore is just a short train ride away from Washington DC.)

This was the perfect opportunity for a family vacation and childhood dream fulfilled.

I learned about the leadership and mission of Discovery Toys and had a great time. We made great family memories in Washington D.C.  Read more here

As a parent, I played this album “Sounds Like Fun” in CD format for my own children to fall asleep. Now, as a music therapy student, I’ve rediscovered the song’s simple melody and repetitive chords making it an excellent tool for my own journey in learning how to play the guitar.
