Celebrate "Eat Better Together Month" in October with Family Talk
Did you know that there is an “Eat Better Together” month? The purpose is to enjoy sharing meals together. One way we can enjoy meals together is to use conversation starter questions. A history and ideas for celebrating can be found here at National Day.
A Night of Family Fun with Family Talk
Last night, we had a memorable family dinner. It wasn’t because I cooked a gourmet meal or anything like that. It was all thanks to a simple deck of cards called Family Talk.
At first, my kids were reluctant when I pulled out the cards. But as the questions and answers started flowing, so did the silliness.
The questions on the cards sparked some hilarious and heartfelt conversations. We laughed, and we shared stories.
Before we knew it, almost an hour had passed. Usually, dinner is over and done within about 15 minutes, but this time, we were so engrossed in our conversations that we lost track of time.
I highly recommend Family Talk. It’s a fun and easy way to spark meaningful conversations and create memories!
