A Surprise Splash of Fun

I’ll never forget the day I decided to rope my two teenage sons into helping me test out my new Discovery Toys product: the Hydro Launch. I figured they were a bit too old for a backyard water toy, but I was wrong!

At first, they rolled their eyes and groaned. “Really?” they asked, clearly unimpressed. But, as they started playing with the Hydro Launch, their attitudes started to change.

The fun began with a classic sibling rivalry. One would be in control of the hose, while the other would reset the rocket.

After one of them truly accidentally sprayed the other in in the face, the back and forth began.

“It’s your turn to reset the rocket.” “No, no, I won’t do it this time, I promise” they’d say with a mischievous grin, only to betray their promise a moment later as they launched water in his brother’s face.

It was hilarious to watch them transform from reluctant teenagers into playful kids. They spent the afternoon experimenting with different angles and water pressures, trying to achieve the perfect launch.

The Hydro Launch was a surprising hit with my teenage boys. It reminded me that we are never too old to play.
