Why All Things Early Intervention Blog?
I created this blog…to share information, be a support to other special instructors, challenge myself and to have fun!
Special Instruction is Unique
- The role of the special instructor is unique, but the resources and support are few and far between. Most of the resources on the internet for early intervention are focused toward classroom teachers, physical therapists, occupational therapists or speech therapists. I feel like I have something to offer that is unique to special instructors, also known as developmental therapists in some states.
Community of Early Intervention Providers
Much of the material geared toward special instructors could also benefit parents. In the future, I hope to offer a special “for parents” section as well.
I am always looking for new information to make myself better. Better at teaching children. Better at coaching parents. Better at understanding specific diagnoses. I welcome comments as long as they abide our comment policy. See our Terms and Conditions If you can’t say something nice, do not say anything at all. Just keep scrolling.
I look forward to sharing my joy and enthusiasm for the world of Early Intervention!
